Process of rebuilding or reconditioning

what we replace in a recondition engine:

Our reconditioned engines are meticulously refurbished, boasting new piston rings, main and big end bearings, a timing belt kit, and a complete engine gasket set. Additionally, each engine undergoes rigorous pressure testing and cylinder head skimming, accompanied by the installation of new steam seals and valves. We go the extra mile by replacing seats, stem seals, air and oil filters, replenishing air conditioning gas, and topping up with antifreeze.

Removal of engine from vehicle
Remove all auxiliary/ancillary from engine inculding injectors
Seperate head from block
Remove all components from cylinder head and block
Inspect all parts for wear and damage accordingly
Use specialist parts washer
Check parts for fitment and tolerance accordingly before machined
New bearing/piston rings/seals new gaskets installed if required
Timing belt/chain and oil replaced if required
Once we are happy everything is put back together
All new fluids replenished
Engine is then hooked to diagnostic computer
Start vehicle test the performance to high standard
Once we are happy we will then wash the car ready for the customer

All parts used are identical to the ones used by OME.
We DO NOT use after market/3rd party parts unless requested by the customer. We will always ask you first.

All recondition/rebuilding parts must be serviceable (surcharges will occur if the part is not deemed serviceable or we think it might cause problems in the reconditioning process).
